Purpose Statement for PLMC's School Ministry in PLMGS (P)

The School Ministry exists to reach pre-believers, to connect them to Christ's family, to raise up a succeeding generation to honour God, impacting communities and nations with Christ's love.
Christian Fellowship (CF) CCA

The objective of the CF is to nurture and disciple every believer, to raise up a generation of godly women of fine character to honour God and to impact communities and nations with Christ's love.

The CF CCA meets every Tuesday from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. The majority of our girls are Christians, with a minority of pre-believers. Through God's grace, these pre-believers have now received Jesus as their Saviour and Lord. It is heartwarming to see our CF girls bringing their non-Christian classmates, with consent from their parents, to our fellowship. Praise God, they are learning how to 'fish' at a young age!

God provided a stalwart team of co-labourers to run with me. As I reflect on His faithfulness in providing the labourers, I am overwhelmed with thankfulness and joy filled my heart! Judy Yeo, Jessie Yeo, Jessie Ong, Chin Choo, Elizabeth, Helen, Lily, Dawn and Anne have been running with me for the past two and a half years. Every Tuesday, despite the sweltering heat of the afternoon, they would labour out of love for the CF girls. Their rapport with the girls enables them to share the love of Jesus and those who were pre-believers have all received Jesus as their Lord and Saviour!

Our Discipline Purpose

Worship: To teach the girls to worship God in Spirit and in Truth. Guided reflection during worship enhances a deeper worship experience. The girls are encouraged to quiet their 'hearts' to learn to listen to God and to express their feelings and thoughts in 'love letters' to Him. It is indeed heart-warming to read their expressions of love and thanksgiving to God, giving me the calm assurance that His Word sown will not return void. It is a platform for them to glorify God with their heart-wrenching testimonies.

Evangelism: Our girls are being equipped and challenged to share the gospel with their classmates, friends and relatives in a simple John 3:16' diagram. Role play is carried out too. They are taught how to ‘fish'!
Fellowship: 1 remember vividly during one of the worship sessions, the manifested presence of God touched and convicted the heart of one of our girls. She asked me if she could testify. She had not treated her grandmother kindly when she was alive but felt condemned that she could not seek her forgiveness. I assured her of God's forgiveness through repentance and prayed for her. The Holy Spirit was moving powerfully amongst us, He convicted 5 other girls and they all began to weep as they experienced God's unconditional love and forgiveness. Not only did the girls weep, my co-labourers and I could not contain the tears as we experienced His tangible presence. It was indeed an awesome experience right in CF! These are their testimonies:
