Each month, the results of my monthly check-up would be worse than the month before. My family sought a renowned fortune teller, venerated as "god", to save me from an untimely death. This “god” was very accurate in telling me what had happened in my past and we were totally convinced. My family spent a lot of money on him to free me from this crisis.

Somehow, the Lord led me back to Singapore for chemotherapy. The doctor's prognosis was very negative and I was told not to hold too much hope. However, a miracle happened! After four sessions of chemotherapy, the cancer cells were under control. My coughing and breathlessness reduced greatly. Nevertheless, I was depressed because the chemotherapy and room rental costs were very high and I did not wish to burden others. I cried almost everyday. By then, I had become terribly skinny.  I often asked my sister why “Lao Tian Ye” ("the gods”) allowed this big “crisis” to happen to me. “Why does my family have to suffer this way? Why? Why?"

Just as I was about to give up and leave Singapore, God, our Heavenly Father sent a Christian sister, Wang Di, to share the Good News with me. I came to know Jesus and the Bible cleared all my doubts. I realized that it is the Almighty God who created mankind. And it is Satan, the devil, who caused harm to my body.

On 28 August 2004, Daniel Ho came to visit me and shared about God with me. I accepted Christ as my Lord.

​

Immediately my life was transformed. I stopped crying every day. I was no longer angry but was filled with joy and peace. I really thank God for His great power; He sent brothers and sisters to support and help me financially, mentally and emotionally. Their prayers built me up in my faith.

​

Sister Bee Bee brought me to the healing school and translated for me. Pastor Tony Cameneti laid hands and prayed for me. I  felt a warmth flow through my body and  in the areas where I felt pain, I sensed some kind of heat. Praise the Lord and all glory to Him! I believe I am completely healed. His great power was at work in me.

On 5 October 2004, I went for an X-ray of my lungs. It was really great news! My lungs showed only one-third of the white spots (an indication that the cancer is receding). Hallelujah! Praise the Lord for giving me a new lease of life. I was given  only six months to live, but now, after one year, I am still alive and I believe I am healed.

​

Now I am filled with hope for the future and I will live well - testifying for God, so that those who have not yet put their trust in God will be saved.
