2013 Living Stones Mid-Autumn Festival Outreach

On 8 SEPTEMBER 2013, Chang Qing from Living Stones Mandarin Service celebrated the Mid-autumn Festival. This was an open cell organised for pre-believers to know God and experience His love. Some 140 people attended, of whom many were first time visitors.
Some of the interesting programmes included gospel sharing through a lively and engaging skit and dancing and singing to nostalgic folk songs which attracted a 91-year-old to join in. Another member aged 85, showcased his calligraphy skills to much applause. Mooncake making was the mouth watering highlight.
The event ended in a joyous mood and everyone was given a mooncake to take Home. A sister came to me afterwards to ask, “When will be our next celebration?”

靠主的恩典，活石华语崇拜，的长青小组，于九月八日以开放小组的方式庆祝华人传统的中秋佳节。目地在于让非信徒有机会来认识主耶稣基督和感受主的大爱。感谢主，出席者多达 140 人，其中不乏被邀请来的宾客。
各展所长，使得节目多姿多彩，有见证，口琴独奏，情歌对唱，小组合唱，趣味有奖问答和创意剥柚子比赛等。一位 91 岁的弟兄也情不自禁地跟随着一首怀旧 精曲 ‘高山青’，手舞足蹈，翩翩起舞。另一位 85 岁的年长弟兄，当场表演挥豪，好，其中一副 “中秋节蒙恩蒙福” 更迎得大家热烈的掌声。节目的另一个高潮是由一位姐妹作月饼制作示范，搞得会众是垂涎欲滴，跃跃一试！最后还赠送月饼给大家，让大家一饱口福。节目在欢愉的气氛下结束，一位姐妹还意尤未尽，问道：“下一次的庆祝会是何时?”。
