2011 First AV Ministry Retreat

The first AV Ministry retreat was held on Saturday, 13 August, at the Chapel. Twenty-five members from Projection (Live and Post), Photography, and Sound attended. Everyone had a blessed time during the Worship, Word, Work segments as well as the 'Durian Fellowship' where all enjoyed the fruit of their labour.
At the individual level, members were encouraged by the prophetic message and drawing prepared by Anna, and Rev Seet's sharing gave us a better understanding of the Church's direction.
At the group level, many key issues close to members' hearts like - lack of manpower, need for more training and enhancing team dynamics were discussed and culminated into practical action steps.At the church level, a project team was proposed to provide post-production assistance to other ministry, subject to members’ availability.
The retreat was a resounding success with its objectives met and a host of broad actionable steps that will be followed up to take the AV Ministry to a new level of intra and inter-ministry integration.
