Equip, Prepare & Overcome
the Economic Crisis

The third and final of the three HOPE Fairs initiated and sponsored by Trinity Annual Conference (TRAC) was held at our church on Saturday, 17 October 2009. After months of preparation with partnering churches - Ang Mo Kio MC, Toa Payoh MC and Trinity MC - we opened our doors to some 1,500 people from the community who came to be equipped and prepared to overcome the economic crisis.

“希望”博览会装备与预备来克服经济危机

由三一年议会发起和赞助的第三及最后一次的“希望”博览会,在星期六, 2009年10月17日, 于本堂举行。经过了好几个月与卫理公会宏茂桥堂、大巴窑堂及三一堂一起筹备后,我们在当天欢迎大约1,500位来自社区的人到博览会,前来被装备及预备,好去克服经济危机。

我们很荣幸邀请到吴作栋国务资政作为贵宾,还有特别来宾如马林百列集选区国会议员谢健平先生和林谋泉先生,及其他社区领袖前来。在掀开序幕时,吴资政提到基督教组织举办“希望”博览会是一件令人耳目一新和受欢迎之事。他高兴看到卫理公会教会不分种族或宗教地帮助所有新加坡人。
