2008 TNG Official Launch
Unveiling The Masterpiece
Rev Peter Koh, Pastor-in-Charge, officially welcomed the congregation to the official launch of the TNG service, and shared with everyone the Vision, Mission and Guiding Principles of the TNG ministry.

In his sermon, Rev Wee stressed the importance of family in determining our future. At the same time, he also highlighted that after we have received Christ as our Saviour and Lord, we are now responsible for our personal choices and decisions in life. He reminded the congregation that we have an earthly family and a spiritual family of brothers and sisters in Christ. In closing, Rev Wee invited all the parents to come forward for prayer and to receive from the Lord. He then invited the youth who needed prayer to stand along the aisles of the concert hall and asked the parents to come alongside the youth to pray and minister to them.
"The official launch of the TNG worship service at PLMGSS is the realization of a vision to extend our pastoral and outreach ministry to the harvest field at PLMGS, which was birthed more than four years ago. Our partnership with the school, through our financial support in the building of the school's concert hall, has provided us with the opportunity to establish our TNG worship service there and also to relocate the entire TNG department at the school. This will help us to build and strengthen bonds of friendships with the students of the school and their families in the surrounding community at Lor Ah Soo.
The "Masterpiece" Unveiled
A change in leadership, a change in pastor a change in worship venue. The past several months have certainly seen many major changes in the TNG ministry. But through it all, we give praise to the Lord for His faithfulness and His ever watchful eyes on the TNG ministry, guiding providing and affirming the staff and team leaders on this journey of changes.
This period of changes also brought with it a period of reflection, visioning and seeking the Lord's direction for the ministry. At the official launch of the TNG worship service at their new venue at the PLMGSS concert hall on 27 January 2008, Rev Peter Koh shared the new Vision, Mission and Guiding Principles of the ministry.
The new Vision, "Every youth a masterpiece, destined to soar", based on Ephesians 2:10 & Isaiah 40:31, seeks to inculcate the identity of every youth in Christ. The youth leadership team feels that once every youth is established in who they are, they will want to rise up and realize the potential God has given them."
