Little Soldiers in God's Army
The belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, "boots" of readiness, shield of faith, helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit... Led by "Major" Grace See, our children Ministry director, the children at our Church School junior Department (7 to l 2 years) attended a "training" session on the importance of putting on the full armour of God to stand against the lies and deception of the evil one.
It was the church school's Open Sunday on 21 March 2004.The theme was on how children can be a powerful force. That God can use to make a difference. Praise God that 80 children from both the 9.00 am and I l. I 5 am church school stood up when challenged to make a difference. They also came forward to be prayed for at the end of the session. And what's more, we welcomed four new children into God's family when they accepted Jesus as their Lord and Saviour! Church School Open Sunday is held once a month, with a special emphasis and theme. Children are encouraged to invite their friends every Sunday!
