1990 Farewell to Rev Kang Ho Soon
Farewell Dinner for our Former Senior Pastor
Around 620 church leaders and members attended the Farewell Dinner organised by the Pastor-Parish Relations Committee (PPRC).
After the dinner, members adjourned to the sanctuary for fellowship and thanksgiving.
Besides the witty and humorous farewell speeches by the PPRC Chairman, Lay Leader and LCEC Chairman, the members were warmed by the singing performances of the 9am choir, the Malay Speaking congregation and the MYF, which were especially dedicated to Rev Dr Kang.
Members were also enlightened to his ministry in PLMC for the last 10 years through a slide presentation.
As a gesture of his love and appreciation to members for their care and concern, Rev Dr Kang sang the song "To God Be The Glory”.
The evening ended with the hymn “God will take care of You” reflecting our blessings and love for a pastor we dearly love.
