1989 VI Retreat
A Retreat at Fraser's Hill 1989
Ng Choon Hwee
Eight visually impaired and two sighted worshippers from our Church participated in a retreat organised by the Gospel Mission to the Blind. Together with other visually impaired brothers and sisters and some sighted helpers, we left for Fraser's Hill on the evening of 5th Dec 3 for a time of learning and fellowship.

Planned entirely by the blind themselves, the retreat had as its theme, "The Marks Of A Disciple" covering topics like Love, Service And Evangelism. The workshop topics sparked off a lively and interesting discussion on Courtship, Marriage and Singlehood. There were also games, excursions and a campers' night which sprung many surprises. On the final evening, many came forward for prayer and to rededicate their lives. But the greatest joy for us all was to see yet another person receiving Christ and joining God's great family.
The retreat was indeed an enjoyable one. The participants testified to this at the reunion held on 21st January 1989. Please do remember the visually impaired in your prayers. Pray for their spiritual growth and pray that God will raise up more men and women of God among us.
