1962 Methodist Youth Fellowship Talentime
MYF Talentime-Cum-Film Show
A Talentime-Cum-Film Show will be held on Saturday night, 21st July, 1962 at 7.30 p.m. in the Paya Lebar Methodist School Hall. This function is sponsored by the Youth Fellowship of the Church and open to all the church's organisations. There will be three sections-Open, Senior and Junior. Fifteen contestants will participate. The winning organisation will receive the Loh Khie Lock Challenge Cup, twice won by the Boys' Brigade. Token gifts for finalists have been donated by Messrs. Yap Giau Keng, Heng Chin Hock, Chua Loon Chuan, Bata Shoe Co., Ltd., and Horlicks, Ltd.
Mr. Siri Pereira will compere and the Siri Pereira Combo will be in attendance. Guest artistes will also perform. Mrs. D. M. Chellappah, the Pastor's wife, will distribute the prizes. Judges are Miss E. Savage, Mr. Choo Hwee Lim and Mr. David Lim.
The "Talentime" will be followed by a film "Carry On, Sergeant". Tickets are priced at $2/- and $1/- and are obtainable at the door.
