1962 30th Anniversary
The Ministers' Message
Kenneth J. Chellappah & Raymond Phoa
We count it a special privilege and honour to be serving this Church this year when we are celebrating our Thirtieth Anniversary. Times such as these are times of recollection and thanksgiving. We remember with gratitude those who have gone before, the Ministers and faithful lay folk who laid the foundations and those who built thereon. To them we owe a debt that only faithful service and love can repay.

Church Life 1962
Above all we must thank God our Father for His guidance and concern over these past years as our Church has grown from strength to strength. It is His work, therefore let us give Him the glory. “Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labour in vain.”
What must make us more humble is the fact that man is often unfaithful to his God. Yet God uses him, so that His purposes may be fulfilled. “Thou canst use our weakness, to magnify Thy power.”
We must also add a word of appreciation for the good work done by Mr. Yap Chip Guan and his team of faithful workers who have handled all the arrangements for this week. Young and old have worked faithfully and enthusiastically for several months.
The organizations — the Choir, the W.S.C.S., the MYF and the BB,—have all done their share. A big "Thank you” to all from your ministers. Above all, “To God be the glory, great things He hath done”.
